a blog a day - day 1
I figured that in the midst of my unemployment, I'd need some kind of project(s) to work towards. One of those projects I thought of is to do a blog a day, for 30 days.
Posting a blog, to me, usually happens when a surge of inspiration or feeling can't contain itself inside and desires to be expressed. On most emotionally-mundane days, I don't feel the desire to post anything.
However, for the sake of sticking to a thing (including running. Yes, I've started running), I'd like to do this challenge to exercise some kind of writing or thought-expressing exercise. I don't know. I'm not sure what to expect out of this at the end of the 30 days. It's likely nothing happens. But I'd like to experience it either way.
As for the format, I haven't thought out much about what the daily topics would be. It'll be nice to think of some prompts but I also like the freedom of freeform expression - so we'll see.
Today, I'll have my trial adult art class. I've never formally took art classes before, outside of the ones that happen in school. That said, I've never considered myself to be very artsy to begin with even though I could appreciate a beautiful art piece. My motivation for this stemmed from the fact that I've always wished that I could replicate the feeling I'd get from seeing certain pieces and this is my way of experimenting to see if I could ever (realistically maybe not without consistent practice for decades). But I'd like to try and explore.
